The Via Ferrata "Paolo Dieci" is a spectacular adventure that offers unforgettable views and excitement, but it’s not for everyone. The first part of the route winds through the forest and along the ridge, making it relatively easy to navigate. However, the challenge begins in the second part, where you encounter a steep and vertical section of rock that ignites a true adrenaline rush during the climb. This route is designed for individuals with high physical fitness and those ready to face technical challenges. You can reach it by turning off the main road from Sarajevo to Tuzla at the bus station in Kladanj, heading towards the town center. Follow the signs leading to the picnic area and the "Muška Voda" hotel, then drive 7 kilometers to the entrance of the path that leads to the via ferrata and sport climbing routes. There is no designated parking, so you can park along the river, across from the entrance to the ferrata. An information board detailing the via ferrata and climbing routes is located on the rocks beside the path. The access to the ferrata takes about 10 minutes, and the route itself is 200 meters long with an elevation difference of 150 meters. It has a technical rating of B/C, which means it is suitable for experienced climbers. The average crossing time is around 40 minutes. The descent from the ferrata begins at the top, where a prominent flag is displayed. The descent trail is well-marked and leads through the forest, passing through a village and continuing along a gravel road to the main road. This via ferrata is perfect for those seeking a challenge and who enjoy the stunning natural beauty during their climb.
