The via ferrata "Podružje" or "Ilirski put" stands out for its uniqueness, as it runs along the riverbed, allowing climbers to enjoy the experience of climbing beside the water during spring and fall. This route is designed for individuals with a good level of physical fitness. To reach the via ferrata from the center of Mostar, follow the road toward Raštani along the Neretva River. After about 3 kilometers, turn right onto the road leading to Raška Gora. From that turn, it’s another 1.3 kilometers to a bend where you can park your car. At that location, there is a sign marking the beginning of the via ferrata. From the parking area, a path descends, and after 200 meters, you enter the canyon. The via ferrata starts 300 meters after entering the canyon. The approach to the via ferrata takes approximately 15 minutes, while the via ferrata itself spans 1,000 meters with an elevation gain of 200 meters. The technical difficulty is rated A/B, and the average time to complete the route is around 60 minutes. As you exit the via ferrata, the path veers left under the rocks and then leads through a narrow passage back to the road that descends to the starting point. The entire trail is well-marked. It is advisable to avoid the via ferrata after heavy rainfall due to the risk of river overflow.
