Maplewood is a unique festival held on Mount Bjelašnica, attracting art and nature enthusiasts from across the region. The festival is renowned for its creative and relaxed atmosphere, where visitors can enjoy a variety of artistic expressions, including visual arts, music, performances, and architecture.

Nestled in unspoiled nature, surrounded by forests and mountain landscapes, artists from various backgrounds come together to showcase their unique skills and talents. The perfect venue for such presentations is a natural amphitheater with a capacity of about 500 seats, providing performers with an inspiring environment and the audience with an unforgettable experience of interacting with art.

Maplewood is located just 2.5 km from the center of Bjelašnica, a mere 25-minute drive from Sarajevo. By hosting the festival in a natural setting, far removed from the hustle and bustle of city life, we create a space for creativity and the exchange of ideas, opening new perspectives and reflections within our community.

The Maplewood Festival was established in 2013, with one of its primary goals being the promotion of young artists, providing them a platform to showcase their work and create valuable connections with peers and the audience. In addition to exhibitions and performances, the festival often includes workshops and discussions that encourage the exchange of ideas and experiences among participants.

Each year, the festival brings new and exciting content, enriching the cultural scene of Bosnia and Herzegovina and strengthening the bonds among artistic communities in the region.
