Via Ferrata Bukovik - Bijela Stijena is a challenging yet accessible climbing route located in Bosnia and Herzegovina, near the town of Vareš. This route offers a unique blend of adrenaline and tranquility, allowing nature lovers to experience the beauty and energy of the mountains in a distinctive way. In addition to climbing, the area features a tour of the Skakavac waterfall, hiking trails on Sarajevo's Ozren, and the opportunity to visit nearby mountain lodges. Accessing Via Ferrata from Sarajevo takes you through Nahorevo to Uževice, where the path branches off toward the hiking sector. The route is clearly marked, and after descending, it leads to the Seven Springs, an ideal spot to rest and enjoy nature. Reaching this via ferrata takes about ten minutes, and the climbing path stretches approximately 200 meters. It involves an elevation gain of 150 meters, with a technical difficulty rated as B/C. The average time required to complete the via ferrata is around forty minutes. Upon reaching the endpoint, where a flag is planted, the descent begins. The descending path is well-marked and winds through the forest until it reaches the village. From the village, the trail transitions into a gravel road that connects to the main road, making for an easy return.
